The brass quintet PBtet (Prague Brass quintet) began to form at the end of 2016 from leading students of the brass department of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague under the artistic direction of Jiří Novotný. The quintet's greatest success is the victory at the Jeju International Brass & Percussion Competition 2019. It also received awards at the Bucharest International Music Competition 2021 and the International Music Competition OPUS 2022. The ensemble consists of Walter Hofbauer and Karel Hons as trumpet players, Daniela Roubíčková as french horn player, trombonist Barbora Kolafova  and tuba player Jakub Chmelař. At present, all players are permanent members of important Czech orchestras, namely the Czech Philharmonic, PKF - Prague Philharmonic, the Orchestra of the Opera of the National Theater in Prague and the Orchestra of the State Opera. The ensemble regularly performs at festivals in the Czech Republic and abroad. At the beginning of 2021, under his original name Prague BRASStet, he released his debut album called JOY.
